AMD announces that Far Cry 3 will be optimized for AMD Radeon HD graphics cards as the game is the latest member of the company's Gaming Evolved program:
Over the past few months, we’ve been telling you all about our Gaming Evolved program, which collaborates with the industry’s top developers to make games look better and run faster for PC gamers. Today we are proud to announce the latest member of this initiative: Far Cry 3.
You are Jason Brody, a tourist stranded on a tropical island chain lost in a bloody conflict between psychotic warlords and indigenous rebels. As well as a massive single player campaign, Far Cry 3 will feature a dedicated, stand-alone 4 player co-op campaign, multiplayer modes for 2-14 people (7 vs 7) and a powerful map editor!
