Slashgear received word that Sony has stopped selling its Xperia tablet after discovering a manufacturing defect in some units. The company discovered that some tablets have gaps between the screen and the case, making them vulnerable to water damage. Sony blames the issue on a manufacturing process used at the Chinese plant where the product is assembled. At this point, Sony is uncertain when shipments will continue.
