Podpad wireless scanner revealed

Genius announced a cooperation with PODPAD to deliver a Wireless Document Scanner. It works in conjunction with Android, BlackBerry and Windows phones, and can scan documents of up to 8.5" x 14" (a bit larger than an A4-sized page). The product has a MSRP of $249 but will temporarily be available for $219.
Genius is pleased to introduce PODPAD Wireless Document Scanner, a co-branding with PODPAD LLC., for on-the-go professional industries such as trucking, delivery, field services, utilities, in-home healthcare and more. With the durable, lightweight PODPAD, users can scan bills of lading, receipts, or other important time-sensitive documents and then instantly send them to the office using an Android, Blackberry, or Windows smart phone.

After downloading the PODPAD app on your phone, recently scanned documents can be sent to your phone in PDF format via Bluetooth and then sent to anyone via email – greatly speeding up paperwork time. PODPAD can scan six documents up to 8.5” x 14” in size per minute. PODPAD Wireless Document Scanner tracks the date, time, location, customer, document ID and employee for each document sent for easy record keeping.

PODPAD comes with a cigarette lighter adapter for easy power plug in ability when working on the go. PODPAD can also be used at home with a laptop or desktop computer thanks to its included USB cable and wall adapter.
