Cougar presents their new 500W and 600W RX power supplies. These units have an efficiency of up to 82 percent and feature a dual +12V rail design.
COUGAR, the fast-growing PC chassis & PSU manufacturer and branding company in Taiwan, catching the gaming fever aroused by the earlier finished LOL World Championship tournament, released their latest RX Power Supply Series.

Targeting the gaming fan boom after the big global gaming event, the COUGAR RX PSUs are rather humble yet more suitable and affordable to game newbies as compare to the PSUs that are focusing on high-end market of the business. The COUGAR RX Series' classic color mix of black and orange-red gives a masculine and playful character to the product. Its 14-cm fan can leisurely bring out the heat with lower rotating speed, which means: much lower noise, and is definitely a luxury addition to products in this price range. Not to mention that this Ultra-Quiet Fan can automatically adjust its RMP according to its current temperature.

COUGAR RX power supply covers all basic needs of the beginners who just entered the gaming wonderland. It is 80Plus certificated with over 82% of efficiency and is equipped with Active PFC. One of the most remarkable energy-saving features of the RX series should be COUGAR's specially developed Dynamic Dual 12V design, which can do dynamic load distribution on the dual 12V line to provide power separately to both GPU and CPU. If you are not using all outputs, the COUGAR RX can automatically reroute the needed power from unused lines. This design improves the performance of the 12V lines considerably for systems with high-end graphic cards in SLI or CrossFire mode, and provides high output stability to keep the components safe. For users that need better graphic effects, the COUGAR RX also supports Multi-GPU technology with PCI Express 2.0 next-generation graphic cards with 6pin or 8(6+2) pin PCI-E connectors.
