Intel Atom D2560 now available

HardwareInfo reports Intel has rolled out the D2560, the new Atom flagship processor.

This 32nm chip is based on the Saltwell architecture, it features two Cedarview cores clocked at 2GHz and comes with HyperThreading technology. The chip has a 10W TDP and is sold for around $47.
The new D2560 is based on the 32 nm Saltwel architecture and the Cedarview cores are clocked at 2 GHz. While quite a bit faster than the 1.86 GHz D2550, it's still 133 MHz slower than the D2700 which was discontinued earlier this year.
