Engadget spreads word that LG has shown off a new 29" screen with a 21:9 ultrawidescreen aspect ratio. The EA93 UltraWide LCD display has a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels and has DVI Dual-Link, DisplayPort, and HDMI with MHL support.

Pricing in South Korea is 690,000 won, about the equivalent of US$633. I can't really say I'm a fan of this display though, despite being a 29" screen it has less vertical pixels than my old 24" 16:10 LCD.
