HardwareInfo got its hands on pictures of Crucial's new Ballistix Sport VLP, a new line of Very Low Profile (VLP) memoru modules designed to be used with large CPU coolers that need all space around the CPU socket that can be had. Crucial claims these modules have the lowest profile currently available in the market, they have a black heatspreader and the image reveals that the DDR3-1600 modules have 9-9-9-24 timings at 1.35V.
At the time of writing there were as yet no prices listed in our Price Comparison engine. On the continent there were some prices to be found: 23 euros (about 18 pounds) for a single 4GB module and 37 euros (just shy of 30 quid) for the 8GB version.
