Genius WideCam 320 webcam revealed

Genius introduces the WideCam 320, a new $39.99 webcam with a 100° ultra-wide-angle lens. The device has a 8 megapixel sensor, it shoots 640 x 480 pixel video at 30fps, it features 3x digital zoom and has a built-in stereo microphone. It comes with manual focus and features a universal clip stand.
Genius announces an ultra wide angle webcam for conference calls - WideCam 320. With its 100° view angle the entire boardroom can be captured in a single frame.

The ultra wide 100° angle view ensures that everyone around the conference table can be seen without any crowding together. The high-quality manual focus lens ensures well-defined video of the entire room. Everyone can be heard clearly around the room as well. The WideCam 320 has a built-in sensitive microphone that picks up the speaker's voice clearly while filtering out any background noise.

8MP photos can be also taken with WideCam 320. Aided by the 3x digital zoom crystal clear images can be taken near or far.

The WideCam 320 can be conveniently clipped onto any size monitor or screen thanks to its universal clip or even just stand alone. With the 1.5 meter USB cable length, business professionals have the freedom to place the WideCam in the most efficient spot without worrying about restrictions.

Included in the box, the Arcsoft Webcam Companion 4 Lite software lets users send recorded video and photos straight to YouTube, Flickr, and Twitter. The included software also allows for fun photo editing and effects while video chatting.

Following the successful launch of WideCam F100, Genius is now releasing the WideCam 320 to the North American market as an ideal price-performance solution for general consumers.
