3DMark Cloud Gate trailer

Futuremark teases the upcoming 3DMark launch with a new trailer of Cloud Gate, a test designed for benchmarking DirectX 10 compatible hardware. The new 3DMark will arrive in January 2013, it will be unique because it will be the series' first multi-platform benchmark, enabling direct comparison of 3DMark scores with Windows, Android and iOS devices.

Cloud Gate is a new test that is designed for Windows notebooks and typical home PCs. Cloud Gate includes two graphics tests and a physics test. Cloud Gate uses a DirectX 11 engine limited to Direct3D feature level 10 making it suitable for testing DirectX 10 compatible hardware.
