Asian tech site ChipHell published the leaked specifications of "Wayne", NVIDIA's upcoming Tegra 4 SoC. This new mobile processor sticks with the 4-plus-1 design from Tegra 3, this means the chip has four cores plus a fifth low-power core to save battery life when you're not running CPU intensive applications. Big improvements are found in the graphics unit, it now has 72 cores, six times as many as Tegra 3. The chip is to be made on a 28nm HPL process and may hit the market sometime next year.
