EK Waterblocks announced its very first CAD/CAM/HPC graphics card waterblock. The new EK-FCQ6000 costs 119.95EUR and supports the NVIDIA Quadro 6000- & 5000 series workstation graphics cards as well as the Tesla C20xx & M20xx computing accelerators.
EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear provider, officially introduces the EK-FCQ6000, their debut CAD/CAM/HPC graphics card full-cover water block for nVidia Quadro 6000- & 5000 series professional graphics card as well as Tesla C20xx & M20xx computing cards. Complete compatibility list can be found on Cooling Configurator.

This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain 100% stable under any given workload. EK-FCQ6000 water block also features a high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

Base is made of C110 grade electrolytic copper while the top is made of laser cut stainless steel metal plate. The sealing is performed by quality NBR rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure. Block is mounted with enclosed M3x4- & M3x6 DIN7985 screws, factory provided backplate is re-used during installation to even further improve the cooling performance.

EK also encloses a single-slot I/O bracket which replaces the original two-slot in order to make installation of mutliple graphics cards easier. Moreover, each EK-FCQ6000 water block comes with 1g packaging of Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal grease (TIM).

This water block features a very slim design therefore up to seven EK-FCQ6000 water blocks can be used in a single ATX form factor motherboard. Contact EK for custom multiple-port FC Terminal built per your demands. EK-FCQ6000 comes with the MSRP of 119.95€ (incl. VAT) and will be available for purchase through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network on Wednesday, December 19th 2012.
