One of the must-see attractions at CES 2013 will likely be Samsung's new 5.5" flexible phone screen. CNET writes the South Korean electronics giant will show off a pair of bendable screens at next week's consumer electronics show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Samsung Display will show off a bendable 5.5" screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution (276ppi), this model is aimed at future smartphones. On top of that, the company will also reveal a 55" bendable screen for televisions.
A flexible display offers design freedom, Samsung Display told CNET, noting that although its demo screens curve without rending, they don't yet roll up.

In addition to creating the material that becomes the main substance of the screen, the display company's labs must also develop the touch panel and cover lens, both components that make a screen a screen.
