TweakTown spreads the word that a new rumor is making the rounds that NVIDIA may reveal its very first desktop SoC at CES 2013.
NVIDIA's "Project Denver" could be announced, with multiple reference designs to be shown off tomorrow night, reports FanlessTech. I would not be surprised, and I've said it before that NVIDIA should enter the desktop CPU game in some form - it's one of the biggest markets right now.
Based on an ARM design, this chip would be vastly more energy efficient than current desktop processors and be capable of running Windows RT. Guess we'll see tomorrow (or later next week) if there's any truth to this rumor.
