Sony Xperia Z smartphone is waterproof

Sony teases the Xperia Z, the company' new Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean" smartphone with a 5-inch 1080p HD screen, a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 13MP fast-capture camera, and 4G LTE. What makes this phone stand out from the pack is that it's waterproof. If all ports are properly closed, this phone an be submerged under 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes without damage! Availability is slated for Q1 2013.
