DigiTimes heard both ASRock and MSI have set the strengthening of their marketing in China as one of the primarily goals for 2013.
MSI recently held a marketing conference in Kunshan, eastern China, to adjust marketing and increase motherboard sales in order to hike its total shipments from about five million units in 2012 to 6.0-6.5 million units in 2013, the company indicated.

ASRock has held overclocking contests in several cities in China to enhance its brand reputation, the company noted. ASRock aims to ship three million motherboards to the China market in 2013 and increase total shipments to nine million units, the company said.
