Deepcool introduces the GAMMAXX S40, a new budget cooler that will become available in February for 25EUR ($30). The HSF features four 6mm direct-touch heatpipes, a nickel-plated aluminium fin array and a 120mm PWM fan that spins between 900 to 1600RPM with an airflow of up to 55.5CFM and a noise level of up to 21dBA.

The GAMMAXX S40 is compatible with Intel 2011/1366/1156/1155/775 and AMD FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2 processors.
Deepcool, the leading manufacturer of desktop CPU cooler, VGA cooler, DC case fan and Notebook cooler, officially released a new member for the well-known CPU cooler GAMMAXX family—GAMMAXX S40. The “S” in the name means to say small size, but this cooler also excels in cooling performance.

The bowl shaped 120mm fan successfully help GAMMAXX 300 achieve the superb cooling performance, and it will do the same on GAMMAXX S40. With PWM function, it runs at between 900 and 1600RPM, which offers big airflow to cool the heatsink at very low noise level. The unique D.A.C. design on the fan frame helps to cool the surrounding components such as the MOSFET, thus the overall platform temperature drops by over 10%.

The unique holes-on-fins design makes full use of the heat dissipation surface and push hot air out the heatsink more quickly. In addition, these fins improve vertical air flow during passive cooling. Moreover, the fins are designed as shark fin for the beauty of the product.

The heatsink body is fully nickel plated to prevent from oxidation and increase durability of the product. And the four pieces heatpipe directly touch the processor surface, which can conduct the heat quickly to the fins.

With multiple clips, this cooler can support all mainstream processors including Intel LGA2011/1366/1155/1156/775 and AMD FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2.
