Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 arrives in March

Fractal Design shows off the Arc Midi R2, a new mid-tower that will ship in March for $109.95 (89.95EUR). The case supports Mini-ATX/Micro-ATX/ATX motherboards, has two 5.25" drive bays, eight 3.5/2.5" trays, two additional 2.5" positions behind the motherboard plate, 7+1 expansion slots, and 7 fan positions (of which three 140mm models are included).

There's room for CPU coolers as tall as 180mm, PSUs of up to 170mm deep (270mm when not using the bottom fan location), VGA cards of up to 290mm (430mm without the top HDD cage) and 26mm of space behind the motherboard plate. If you plan on building a watercooled system, the case offers support for up to two 240mm radiators as well as two 120mm radiators.

Other features include dust filters and a I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports, audio ports and an integrated fan controller knob for three fans. The Arc Midi R2 measures 230mm x 460mm x 515mm and weighs 10.7kg.

As the newest member of the Arc family of airflow cases, the Arc Midi R2 is developed with high-performance computer systems in mind. Featuring three high performance Silent Series R2 fans and ample water cooling options, the Arc Midi R2 layout maximizes airflow throughout the case and keeps even the most demanding systems at cool temperatures. Designed to house even the thickest radiators in both the top and front panels without extensive modifications, the Arc Midi R2 offers all this within a mid size case.

The chassis comes complete with a stylish window side panel, fan controller, easy to clean dust filters, high level of workmanship, flexible hard drive mounting system and plenty of space for cable routing.
