Foxconn seeks to expand in Taiwan

DigiTimes reports Foxconn chairman Terry Gou announced the company will focus on expanding its investments in Taiwan:
Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) chairman Terry Gou, at a company event on February 18, said the company will focus on expanding its investments in Taiwan including New Taipei City, Taichung and Kaohsiung and also focus on nurturing talent in Taiwan during 2013.

Gou also commented on the Casino District of Matsu, Taiwan and pointed out that the Taiwan government should learn the experience from Las Vegas, the US and focus on pushing the surrounding business opportunities instead of solely gambling business.
