Microsoft to release HD version of Age of Empires II

Word has hit the wire that Microsoft will launch a HD Edition of RTS classic Age of Empires II on April 5th! Sold exclusively via Steam for 17.09EUR ($17.99), this remake is developed by Hidden Path Entertainment. The game has been remastered for high resolutions of 1920 x 1080 and above, and will enable multi-player via Steam. The bundle includes Age of Empires II as well as the Age of Kings and The Conquerors expansion packs.
In Age of Empires II: HD Edition, fans of the original game and new players alike will fall in love with the classic Age of Empires II experience. Explore all the original single player campaigns from both Age of Kings and The Conquerors expansion, choose from 18 civilizations spanning over a thousand years of history, and head online to challenge other Steam players in your quest for world domination throughout the ages.
