The Tech Report spreads word that Dell is preparing the XPS 18 All-in-One, a new 18" convertible tablet somewhat similar to Transformer AiO from ASUS, but with an ultra-low-voltage Intel Core processor and the Windows 8 operating system. The weight of this new ultra-size tablet is said to be less than 5lbs (2.27kg).
Dubbed the XPS 18 All-In-One, the system was unveiled yesterday at the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Dell's home city. Details are few and far between right now, but according to the teaser page on the PC maker's website, it looks like the whole system is a tablet. "You can unplug and take it with you to create a permanent set-up anywhere with convenient flip-out feet and excellent battery life," says Dell.
