ThermalTake reveals the Urban S71 case

ThermalTake adds another model to its Urban series. The Urban S71 is categorized as a mainstream full-tower case, available in windowed and non-windowed version. Measuring 534mm x 213mm x 584mm, this steel case weighs 10.5kg and offers three 5.25" drive bays, one external 3.5" bay, five 2.5/3.5" storage bays and one 2.5/3.5" docking station. The interior is all black and there's room for eight expansion slots and ATX/E-ATX form factor motherboards. The front I/O panel offers two USB 3.0 ports, a pair of USB 2.0 ports and the usual HD audio ports. Cooling is provided by a 200mm front intake fan, a 120mm rear exhaust fan, a 200mm top exhaust fan and an optional 120mm bottom intake fan. There's room for CPU coolers with a height of up to 160mm and graphics cards as long as 344mm.

The Urban S71 offers largely tool-free installation and its side panels are lined with sound-dampening foam for silent computing. The case also has an integrated fan speed control knob, a couple of dust filters, and various cut-outs for easy cable management.

Furthermore, the preinstalled sound-damping foams for extreme silence purpose on both side panels of Urban S71 non window version reduce noise and acoustic levels within the chassis.

Convenient Platform & Easy Installation
The front-top panel has implemented two of latest data transfer SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports along with two USB 2.0 ports, a HD microphone and headset jacks, to grand direct access when needed. Top-mounted 2.5” or 3.5”HDD Docking Station enables blazing fast file transfer and effortless hot-swap drive replacement design for easy setup or removal of HDD.

Extreme Ventilation
Preinstalled two of 200mm speed control fans at the front and top plus a rear 120mm turbo fan optimize system ventilation. In order to keep the interior dust free, all intake ventilation holes come with dust protection including removable dust filters at the top, front and bottom of the chassis.

Urban S71 enables user to build up a complete high-end solution with a 240mm radiator liquid cooling system, support motherboard up to Extend ATX and extra long graphic card with ease which helps to protect user’s hardware and increase the CPU’s overclocking potential, most importantly while delivering outstanding performance and efficiency from within the case.
