Pricing of GPUs with DDR3 memory up 10-15%

DigiTimes writes pricing of graphics cards made with DDR3 memory is up 10-15 percent due to the increase in DRAM ricing.
Since DDR3 memory prices have recently risen by more than 10%, the sources believe the graphics cards are unlikely to see their prices return to previous levels within the next six months unless GPU makers decide to offer promotions for specific models or launch next-generation products.

Since PC demand is still weak, the sources believe that the price raises should not upset consumers or channel retailers greatly in the short term.
