AMD completes 90nm SOI transition

Hector Ruiz, AMD's CEO, said during at a financial quarter conference that his company finished the transition to the 90nm SOI process.
“Our transition to 90nm is complete with world-class yields and continued capacity expansion to meet the growing demand for AMD products and solutions,” said AMD CEO Hector Ruiz.
It took AMD almost a year to fully transit its Fab 30 to the new fabrication process. Socket A processors are now no longer shipped. Read more at X-bit Labs
