NVIDIA's Shield handheld gaming console isn't even out yet and it already receives a $50 price cut, pushing the launch price down to $299. On the company's blog, NVIDIA explains they've heard from thousands of gamers that if the price was $299, they'd have a home run, so they decided to change the pricing of Shield to $299. If you've already pre-ordered the device for $349, you will only be charged $299 when the product ships on June 27th.
