MSI introduces the GE40 2OC-009US and GE40 2OC-008US, two new Intel Core i7-4702MQ based 14" laptops for gamers. The systems feature Windows 8, a 1600 x 900 pixel resolution, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760M 2GB GDDR5 graphics, 8GB DDR3-1600, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, SD memory card reader, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, 720p HD webcam, and a 6-cell battery. The main difference between the two systems is that the GE40 2OC-009US has a 128GB mSATA SSD plus 750GB 7200RPM HDD, while the GE40 2OC-008US has a DVD burner but only a 750GB 7200RPM HDD. Pricing is $1,399.99 and $1,299.99, respectively, for the
GE40 2OC-009US and GE40 2OC-008US.
