TRENDnet delivers the 10-port Gigabit Web Smart PoE+ TPE-1020WS switch

TRENDnet presents the TPE-1020WS, a new Gigabit Ethernet switch with two uplink ports and eight Gigabit PoE+ ports. The device ha a sturdy, metal, rack mountable design and is available today for $359.99.
This sturdy, metal, rack mountable switch is quiet due to its fanless design. It features eight Gigabit PoE+ ports, which automatically supplies PoE+ (up to 30 Watts) and PoE (up to 15 Watts) power to connected devices. Two Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports are shared with two SFP slots. TRENDnet's energy saving GREENnet technology powers down ports when not in use -resulting in power savings of up to 70%. The TPE-1020WS is IPv6 ready, with full IPv6 support. Embedded traffic management technology includes: 802.3ad link aggregation, Asymmetric VLAN, 802.1Q VLAN, Voice VLAN, GVRP, 802.1p Class of Service (CoS), and QoS queue scheduling.

Security protocols including ACL, SSL, MAC/port filtering, 802.1X, TACACS+, and RADIUS support layered security controls. Real time traffic comparison charts, error group charts, and a convenient cable diagnostic test aides in rapid troubleshooting. RMON, SNMP, SNMP Trap, and Port Mirroring support administrator monitoring solutions.
