Intel Ivy Bridge-E pricing revealed

VR Zone got its hands on the pricing of Intel's upcoming Ivy Bridge-E processors. Anticipated to start shipping on September 10, the cheapest model will cost $305 while the flagship will cost a whopping $990. These processors use the LGA2011 socket and should be compatible with existing motherboards after a BIOS upgrade.
The Core i7-4960X will pack six cores at 3.6GHz with a 15 Mb Smart Cache, while the Core i7-4930K will have six cores at 3.4GHz with a 12 Mb cache. Finally, the Core i7-4820K will pack four cores at 3.7GHz and will have a 10 Mb Smart Cache.
