Posted on Friday, August 02 2013 @ 12:26:10 CEST by

A new month means it's time to analyze the evolution of marketshare in the operating system market. In the case of Google's Android platform, we see that the "Jelly Bean" flavors now account for 40.5 percent of the market, and if you add ICS' marketshare, Android 4.x now has a marketshare of 63 percent. Gingerbread is still holding steady though, 33.1 percent have a device that runs Android 2.3.x.
