Sources at Taiwanese PC players told DigiTimes that Intel is anticipated to introduce its Ivy Bridge-E processors at next week's Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco (September 10-12). The Ivy Bridge-E lineup will include three unlocked chips with a 130W TDP:
Intel will release Ivy Bridge-E-based 6-core Core i7-4960X (3.6GHz), Core i7-4930K (3.4GHz) and quad-core Core i7-4820K (3.7GHz) processors with TDP of 130W. The three processors will adopt the LGA 2011 socket and support the X79 chipset, DDR3 memory and the PCI-Express Gen 3.0. The CPUs will be priced as high as US$999, the sources said.
