OCAholic notes AMD also revealed Forward+ at yesterday's PR event. This technology is supported by the latest Rx-2xx series graphics cards and promises better graphics quality.
The Forward+ technology brings hardware level MSAA, and ability to use unlimited materials with transparency as well as ability to use as many lights as Deferred rendering simply a thousand of real-time animated lights in order to visually improve game graphics. It basically culls and stores only the lights that contribute to the pixel and evaluated one by one in the final shader.
