Koolance recalls QD2-F series quick disconnects

Koolance announced a recall of three QD2 female quick disconnect fittings due to a defect that makes them prone to leaking. Affected products include the QD2-F06-P, QD2-F06X10 and QD2-FG4 from batch numbers 101361 and 101371. Full details can be found over here.
Koolance is issuing an immediate recall of three QD2 series female quick disconnect fittings for potential leaking issues while connected. This recall does not apply to male-gendered (QD2-Mxx) fittings, or any QD3 or QD4 series fittings. Models being recalled are:

  • QD2-F06-P
  • QD2-F06X10
  • QD2-FG4

    Products included in this recall would have been purchased from Koolance or an official reseller between July, 2013 and September, 2013 with one of the batch numbers listed below:

  • 101361
  • 101371

    Batch numbers are printed on the fitting and packaging in the locations illustrated below. This recall does not include any other batch numbers. If you have products which match the above criteria, please submit an RMA request on the Koolance website including your models and quantities. These parts will be exchanged at no cost once inventory is available.
