Motorola's iTunes phone to be launched on Monday?

MobileTracker heard the Motorola iTunes phone will be presented on Monday evening at the MOTONOW event.

Multiple reports on the Web hint Steve Jobs will visit the MOTONOW media event which is lead by Motorola's CEO Ed Zander.

“If they don’t [announce an iTunes handset], it’s not going to be lost on analysts that it’s been a year and we haven’t seen the phone,” said Edward Snyder, principal at Charter Equity Research. “If that happens, analysts will be peppering [Mr. Zander] with a lot of questions.”

Although this isn't the first rumoured launch date it's quite possible as the companies promised to launch the iTunes phone this summer and there are only a few possible events scheduled.
