Posted on Wednesday, October 30 2013 @ 17:14:31 CET by

TPU reports G.Skill introduced AEGIS, a new line of DDR3 memory. These modules are pretty basic, they only come in DDR3-1333 and DDR3-1600 variant and in densities of up to 8GB. Each module has a black PCB with an aluminium heatspreader that features a fancy die-cast print. Pricing will be below $100 and you get lifetime warranty.
The modules could make up solo, dual-channel, and quad-channel memory kits. The modules are designed to run at DDR3-1333 at voltages of 1.35V, and rather timings of 9-9-9-24; and DDR3-1600 at 1.50V, and rather loose timings of 11-11-11-28.
