TSMC showcases 20nm HKMG and 16nm FinFET wafers

Legit Reviews writes TSMC showed off 20nm SoC and 16nm FinFET-based development wafers at ARM TechCon.

TSMC's 20nm process is now ready for production and volume shipments are anticipated in early 2014.

By the end of the year, TSMC also expects to start sampling its 16nm FinFET process. Volume shipments on this process are expected to be possibe by Q1 2015.
