It's been a while since I've last heard something about Dell's Linux efforts but it seems the company is still committed to Ubuntu as it just launched an updated version of the XPS 13 Developer Edition.

With pricing starting at $1,249, this system features a 13.3" 1920 x 1080 pixel LED-backlit touchscreen, an Intel Haswell processor (Core i5-4200U or i7-4500U), 8GB DDR3 memory, Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics, 128/256GB mSATA SSD, a spill-resistant backlit chiclet keyboard, a HD webcam, Bluetooth, 802.11ac WiFi and a 55Whr battery. The operating system is Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
