The Chinese-language edition of VR Zone received word that AMD is working on Vesuvius, a new flagship card that will use two Hawaii XT GPUs.

This will be the Radeon HD 7990's successor, it's expected to feature a total of 5632 stream processors, 352 TMUs, 128 ROPs, and possibly up to 8GB GDDR5 memory.

VR Zone says the card is still in early development, so the launch date is still many months away from us.
