Intel Haswell-E to feature 8-core CPUs with DDR4

The slides seem to be a couple of months old but are worth posting nonetheless. Intel's Haswell-E platform will be the first desktop platform from Intel to feature eight-core, 16-threaded processors, while also being the first to receive support for quad-channel DDR4 memory. On top of that, the new enthusiast platform will also feature 40 lanes of PCIe Gen 3.0 to support up to four discrete graphics cards, while catering to overclockers with more overclocking options and unlocked processors.
