Posted on Monday, July 25 2005 @ 19:56:43 CEST by

The Inquirer found an interesting tidbit on NVIDIA's website regarding the latest ForceWare drivers.

It appears that with the new ForceWare 77.18 and above drivers NVIDIA dropped support for GeForce 2 and older graphics cards. Here's a list of all the cards that aren't supported anymore:
TNT2
TNT2 Pro
TNT2 Ultra
TNT2 Model 64 (M64)
TNT2 Model 64 (M64) Pro
Vanta
Vanta LT
GeForce 256
GeForce DDR
GeForce2 GTS
GeForce2 Pro
GeForce2 Ti
GeForce2 Ultra
GeForce2 MX Integrated graphics
Quadro
Quadro2 Pro
Quadro2 EX
NVIDIA advises owners of these cards to keep using the older ForceWare Release 70 drivers.
