DigiTimes heard from its sources at Taiwanese motherboard makers that AMD's FS1B SoCs will hit the market in February. These chips will mainly compete with Intel's Bay Trail-D series, including the Pentium J2850 and Celeron J1850 and J1750, the makers indicated.
AMD will launch FS1B series processors consisting of the quad-core A6-5350 (2.05GHz), A4-5150 (1.05GHz), E2-3850 (1.3GHz) and dual-core E1-2650 for sale at US$30-60 in February, according to Taiwan-based motherboard makers. The makers said AMD is expected to ship 1.5 million FS1B processors in 2014.
