Sharkoon introduces with the new WPM V2 series the successor to the popular WPM power supplies. The WPM series in Version 2 has an efficiency of over 80% and meets the latest ATX V2.3 standard. Also new is the revised modular cable management system, which now offers two PCIe cables with a 6+2 pin connector for graphics cards. For the first time, the V2 is available in 700 watts; the predecessor was available with a maximum of 600 watts. In addition, the WPM V2 includes a cable with three 4-pin peripheral device connectors, a cable with two 4-pin peripheral device connectors, a floppy connector as well as two SATA cables, each with three 15-pin connectors. Thus, it is possible for the user to only install the cables needed for their PC components. This not only ensures order within the case, but also improves internal airflow.
WPM V2 power supplies are cooled by a quiet 140 mm fan operating at low speed and corresponding low noise volume, while ensuring high airflow. The standby power consumption is a maximum 0.3 watts.
The WPM V2 power supplies are available with 400, 500, 600 and 700 watts. Packaging includes a power cord, a set of modular cables, a manual, mounting screws and a cable bag.
End customers will find the Sharkoon WPM Power Supply V2 available for the suggested retail price starting from 39.99 euros in authorized retailers.

Sharkoon introduces a new line of low budget power supplies. They're available in 400W, 500W, 600W and 700W editions, all models feature a 140mm fan and modular cable management. Unfortunately, the power efficiency of these units doesn't seem to be that great, they only meet the basic 80Plus specification.
