DigiTimes reports Asustek CEO Jerry Shen told investors that his company has a good shot at becoming the third largest notebook maker in the world in the fourth quarter of 2014.
As some competitors have withdrawn from the market or seen decreasing business operations, Asustek Computer expects its global notebook market share to continually rise to the third largest in the fourth quarter of 2014, CEO Jerry Shen said at an investors conference on February 14.

Asustek launched the 10-inch notebook/tablet hybrid T100 in the fourth quarter of 2013 and has shipped 500,000 units. The company will launch the 11.6-inch T200 in May-June and aims at shipments of four million for the two in 2014.
