CNET says Samsung is preparing new flash-based MP3 players with support for XM Satellite Radio content.

Samsung made a deal with XM radio and will bundle the flash players with a kit to receive XM satellite radio. In addition, users will be able to connect to a docking station for the home or car and store the XM programs on the flash memory.

The new Samsung devices will also enable users to buy stores from online music services and to create customized playlists.

The company is planning to launch two storage capacity sizes and says they will be available by the end of this year. One model will be able to store up to 25 hours and the other 50 hours of XM satellite radio programming.
