BetaNews reports Microsoft may rollout the new version of Hotmail today. The new version, code-named Kahuna, features a new, cleaner interface, automatic inbox refreshing and a preview pane that will enable users to read and response to e-mail without leaving their inbox.

The announcement may come in sync with Longhorn beta 1 and IE7, which will both be released later this day.

The new version of Hotmail will also feature 2GB of storage and Microsoft's new Sender ID technology to prevent spam and phishing attacks.
