Google Glass beta opens up to everyone in US for $1,500

Google announced it's expanding its Glass Explorer Edition program to everyone in the U.S. with $1,500 to spare. To participate in the open beta you can buy your Glass via this page until inventory runs out.

The device is available in five different colors and can be customized with different frames or tinted lenses (which will cost you extra).
Last week we told you we'd be trying out new ways to find Explorers. Well, we weren’t kidding. We learned a lot when we opened our site a few weeks ago, so we’ve decided to move to a more open beta. We’re still in the Explorer Program while we continue to improve our hardware and software, but starting today anyone in the US can buy the Glass Explorer Edition, as long as we have it on hand:
