TPU points out that NVIDIA's GeForce GT 740 should hit the market later this week.
This card is expected to be a rebrand of the GeForce GT 640 (28nm GK107) with higher clockspeeds. The dual-slot card will offer 384 CUDA cores, 32 TMUs, 16 ROPs, a 128-bit memory bus, and 1GB to 2GB of GDDR5 memory.
Power is drawn solely from the PCI Express bus interface but some custom-design cards may have a single 6-pin power connector to improve overclocking reliability. Custom cards will be available from launch day.
