GELID announces Snowstorm, a new tower heatsink with three direct-touch heatpipes and a 92mm PWM fan. Compatible with most modern desktop sockets (except LGA2011), this heatsink measures 102mm x 73.1mm x 138mm (L x W x H) and weighs 372g. The included fan has a noise level of 10 to 24.1dBA.

The MSRP is $27 (21EUR, excl. VAT).
SnowStorm is built with a unique fin architecture which distributes air flow equally into the heatsink. Thanks to the 3 power heatpipes with Direct Touch Technology (HDT) this compact cooler achieves unexpected cooling performance. Its compact heatsink size makes it light and with the metal back plate the mount is much secure than with the traditional mounting. The 92mm fan contains an intelligent PWM fan control which ensures a silent operation at low CPU temperature and a fan speed acceleration when the CPU temperature climbs higher.
