Bright Side of News claims AMD is preparing to undergo another major round of restructuring, the site claims the reorganization will be announced later this month. Anonymous sources claim the restructuring is supposed to be an extension of June's reorganization and it's rumored that the number of job cuts will not be as massive as AMD's previous cullings.
Now, the restructuring that is being discussed now (and supposedly already being set in motion) is supposed to be an extension of June’s reorganization/restructuring. This will very likely result in some people changing their roles within the company as well as some people being laid off, as generally seem to happen with major reorganizations. While there are no definite figures of how many people will be let go, it did not sound like those numbers were massive like the culling of 2009 through 2012.
