AMD Carrizo APUs expected in March 2015

DigiTimes heard rumors that AMD is planning to launch its Carrizo mainstream APUs in March 2015, these chips will focus on the mainstream performance laptop segment, whereas a Carrizo-L APU for entry-level laptops should arrive in December 2014 at the earliest.

Set to replace the Kaveri APU lineup, Carrizo is a 28nm quad-core architeture with the Excavator core and DDR3-2133 support. Carrizo-L will replace the Beema and Mullins APUs.
