Mushkin introduces the Chronos G2 SSDs, a new line available in capacities of 60GB to 480GB.
The disks use the SandForce SF-2281 controller and deliver transfer speeds of up to 555MB/s and random 4k IOPS of up to 90k.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the new drive delivers random write performance of up to 90K IOPS and a maximum transfer rate of 555MB/s. Available in capacities from 60GB to 480GB, Mushkin provides customers the option to enter the SSD world with a limited budget, with no compromise in performance. Customers can now build or upgrade a system economically, running the operating system and applications on a SSD, boosting performance substantially over a standard hard disk.
