GELID introduces the Rev. 3 Tranquillo, a new tower cooler with four copper heatpipes, a copper base and aluminium fin array. The heatsink itself measures 65mm x 139mm x 153.5mm (L x W x H), it's actively cooled by a 120mm PWM fan that delivers an airflow of up to 107.95CFM at a noise level of 26.5dBA. The heatsink plus fan weighs 585g and there's an option to mount a second fan. The MSRP is $39 (29EUR).
Like the original cooler the Rev. 3 Tranquillo uses 4 power heat pipes and a unique heat pipe constellation to achieve identical high cooling performance as its multi award winner predecessor. The heat pipe constellation was further optimized to prevent potential conflicts from components on the latest mainboards. The new AMD clip enables the cooler to be install in four directions (4 x 90°). Now, the heatsink can mount a 2nd fan for an even better cooling performance.

A silent 120mm fan with the intelligent GELID PWM (Pulse Width Module) control was chosen to compliment the heat sink. The new fan now comes without any clicking noise which was caused by the PWM IC in the previous fan. The fan blades were optimized and with a fan speed of min. 1000 rpm it guarantees a much higher airflow. The intelligent GELID PWM curve keeps the fan silent but accelerates the fan speed whenever additional cooling is needed.

The multi-award winning high performance GC-2 thermal compound is already included in the package.

Mounting clips for AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2 and for Intel 775, 1366 and latest 1155, 1156, 1150 sockets as well as back plates for Intel LGA 775, Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 boards are all included.
